I was born in Murmansk in 1981. I studied in a graphics faculty in Saint Petersburg. I started to draw comics when I was still in school, using influences from "Elf Quest", "Bamse" and Disney cartoons. I really wanted to make up my own stories. But then when I moved to Saint Petersburg I met with anime fans, some of whom had taken part in the first KomMissia Comics Festival, so that's where it all started for me :) I am especially proud of one of our projects - "Apples Season", which was awarded the Grand Prize at KomMissia Comics Festival, was exhibited at an Italian comics Festival in Lucca and was published in the Czech comic journal "AARGH!". I am also proud of our "TroyAnimals" project, which is a loose adaptation of Homer's Iliad. One day I'd like to continue making this series. My favourites in the world of comics are "The Sandman" by Neil Gaiman, "V for Vendetta" by Alan Moore, "Calvin and Hobbes" by Bill Watterson and "The Mutts" by Patrick MacDonnell. I currently work in the video games industry, designing visuals and interfaces.
