The family duo of graphic artist Andrey and colourist Natalya came together in 1989 in the ‘Kom’ Comics Club. They created comics that drew on the work of the European Bande Dessinée. Their works includes the following creations:

The first series of the ‘Keshka’ Comic strip which came into being in January 1991 in the weekly ‘Semya’. In 1993, ‘Fotofilm’ publishing house released a 48 page colour comic book titled ‘Keshka. The extraordinary tales of an ordinary cat.’

Publisher ‘KompasGid’ released four comic books in the ‘Keshka’ series:

‘In the spotlight’ — September 2012

‘The chase for the Christmas tree’ — December 2012

‘During the summer holidays’ — May 2013

‘Out of control’ — September 2013

The ‘Keshka’ series received the following awards and commendations:

‘Comikaze’ Festival of Modern Graphic Arts, Odessa, 2005: Winner of the ‘Best Children’s Comic’ category

‘9 Mir’ International Comics Festival, Kiev, 2005: Winner of the ‘Best Children’s Comic’ category

16th International Festival of Comics and Games, Łódź, 2005: Second Place

13th International Exhibition ‘PRESSA’ — ‘Zolotoy Fond Pressy’ together with ‘Nu Pogodi’ magazine, 2006: Special Commendation

Lucca Comics and Games Festival — ‘From Russia with Love’ exposition: Exhibited as ‘Keshka, Best-selling cat’

In 2000 the magazine ‘Schastlivye Roditeley’ published the second comic series, ‘Yeroshka’. The story ‘Bobo’ that featured in the publication won the ‘People’s Love’ category at the ‘KomMissiya-2002’ festival in Moscow.

In 2010 the magazine ‘Happy Parents’ took on the new comic series ‘Bolshiye Malyavkiy’.

The duo also cooperated as illustrators with publishing houses including Machaon, Eksmo, Rosman, Step Puzzle; appearing in children’s magazines Ekran Detyam, Veselye Kartinki, Murzilka, Planeta Priklyucheniy, Nu, pogodi!; and in the Pulse and Komikser magazines for youths; as well as the business weekly Kompaniya.
